Product details
The Beehive Lifter (electric) does the heavy lifting so your back doesn't have to. At the push of a button it raises a full deep super — up to 250 lbs — straight off the stack, holds it steady while you get into the brood chamber, then lowers it back exactly where it came from.
It rolls right up to the hive on two 13-inch wheels, over grass or gravel, and the wheelbase adjusts from wide (rock-solid when you're lifting) to narrow (for tight, windy paths between stands). Folds down small enough to ride in a car trunk to the outyard.
How it works
- Roll the lifter parallel to your hive.
- Push the handles down on both sides to grip the box.
- Lift your deep box at the push of a button.
- Set it aside, do your inspection, then lower everything back the same easy way.
Built like farm equipment
Every lifter is made to order in the USA from heavy-gauge steel — not thin imported tubing. It's a simple, rugged tool with very little that can go wrong, backed by our 10-year warranty. Its universal design is compatible with standard 10, and 12-frame hives. Optional 8-frame compatibility is available for $20 per lifter. Add rails to boost capacity to 300 lbs, and an optional solar battery charger ($50) to keep the battery topped up right in the bee yard.
